South Africa used to be considered as one of the cheapest countries to live in the world but as of the last couple of years things have changed. South Africans are not happy about the cost of living compared to their salaries as expenses have increased excessively such as tax, cost of petrol, cost of electricity, cost of food etc. We are all looking at reducing our cost of living to have more expendable cash. Citizens are now looking for areas within South Africa where expenses like rent are cheaper. This is why we compared the expenses in different provinces namely KZN, Western Cape, Gauteng, Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Free State and more.
