black friday The Panda

Black Friday is becoming bigger and bigger South Africa, but for many people in can be very overwhelming. Which stores are running Black Friday specials on 29th November 2019? Should I buy online or in the store? When will I get time to get to the shops or spend hours online? So many questions but luckily we are here to give you some advice.

When will I get time to get to the shops or spend hours online?

You can shop online or in the brick and mortar stores this year as 90% of the shops will be running specials at both “locations”. Online is always everyone’s favourite go-to when buying Black Friday specials but there are always pros and cons. Black Friday has become as popular a Kylie Jenner’s new lipstick launch. Therefore, online can be a problem when you have a website that has many different vendors and gets a lot of traffic like TakeAlot as their servers can’t handle so many people at the same time. Another con of buying online is that if you go to individual stores there will be a shipping fee (mostly if your item is less than R500). So what do we suggest? Well, if you are committed to the cause then I say you wait until 12am, that is when the websites will open the Black Friday specials and there won’t be too many people that the website crashes.

Buying in the store, we all know the cons of that… the ques, the out of stock and sizes issue and the effort of not doing it from your couch of course. BUT it is always less dangerous than buying online as you know the specific quality of the product and you typically spend more online than in the store because it’s a lot easier to just put things in your online basket.
